The west of Majiang County is 109 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang. It is 65 kilometers away from the largest Yanfu Phosphorus Fertilizer Base in Asia, 37 kilometers away from Kaili City, the southeastern Guizhou Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, and south of the Minnan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
