     The Water-Sprinkling Festival, which falls on the new year’s day on the Dai calendar, attracted over 100,000 local people and tourists to Xishuangbanna.

       西双版纳傣历新年进入游客最为期待的泼水狂欢日，吸引了10 余万名当地群众和游客参加。

     Monihei Carnival was held in Monihei Square, Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County. Tourists smeared mud on each other to express their best wishes.

       中国佤族司岗里摸你黑狂欢节在沧源佤族自治县摸你黑广场举行，游客们互抹泥巴祈福平安。

In June, 2016,Huopipa was included in the list of Yunnan Traditional Villages. Currently, as the economy develops, a good number of households had their leaking-roofed Tuzhang houses repaired and renovated with asbestos tile roof, or simply replaced with concrete houses with new roof tiles. The traditional Yi ethnic village with Tuzhang houses was gradually face-lifted.

2016 年6 月，伙枇杷村被列入云南省第三批传统村落名录。如今，随着村民经济条件的好转，很多人家把原先漏雨的土掌房做了修复和重建，加了石棉瓦顶，或是直接建起了水泥瓦房，传统的彝族村落和土掌房逐渐变了模样。

Story of female Dongjing Music

女子洞经的传奇

  18 young women from Tonghai, obsessed with Dongjing Music, swore to preserve their celibacy to wrangle over the opportunity to perform Dongjing Music in the 1940s. In 1947, they founded Miaoshan Association-a female-only Dongjing Music troupe, and staged their first performance in Sanyuan Temple, Xiushan Mountain–an unprecedented first performance of Yunnan Dongjing Music by female musicians.

       上世纪40年代的通海，有18 位对洞经音乐着迷的妙龄女，她们甘愿为古乐修贞，终生不嫁，以此争得弹演洞经的权力。1947 年，她们成立了云南省唯一的、全由女子组成的洞经古乐班“妙善学会”，并在秀山三元宫公开弹演，开创了云南洞经弹演有女性参与的先河。

      The rapid development of Yunnan’s aviation business, and the new opportunities this has brought about have attracted worldwide attention, including a growing number of foreign pilots who have chosen Yunnan as their location of “gold rush”. Agate from Nujiang

来自怒江的石头


The jewelry identification shows that these stones belongs to the category of carnelian, known as agate. With the characteristics of high hardness, exquisite jade texture and abundant colors, the agate can be crafted in various subject creation. 

石头本身具备的丰富色彩令兰慧明很兴奋。“这些石头美得超乎意料，我叫它‘彩虹玉’。”经鉴定，这些石头是玉髓类矿物的一种，属玛瑙，具有硬度高、玉质细、颜色丰富等特点，可进行多题材创作。
