Nepal: Seek for cooperation and support

在本届商洽会上，尼泊尔将进行旅游及投资的推荐活动，尼泊尔驻华大使H.E. Mr. Leela ManiPaudyal也将参与到商洽会中来。他说：“商洽会将促进中国和尼泊尔在投资、贸易和旅游方面的合作，并加强人际间的交往。尼泊尔在商洽会上主要寻求中小企业技术转移、农业推广等方面的合作和支持。”

H.E. Mr. Leela Mani Paudyal, Nepalese ambassador to China will participate in the Expo and Nepal will have recommendation activities about tourism and investment. The ambassador said: “Expo will contribute for further promotion of investment, trade tourism and people to people contact between Nepal and China in general and Nepal and Yunnan in particular. Technology transfer in small & medium size enterprises and agricultural promotion arethe other areas that Nepal will seek to benefit from the Expo.”

巴基斯坦：一个重要的展示机会

Pakistan: An important exhibition opportunity

作为本次商洽会的“荣誉国”以及中国—南亚商务论坛的轮值主席国，巴基斯坦积极参与本届商洽会。巴基斯坦驻成都总领事Amna Baloch说：“巴基斯坦的参展商代表了巴基斯坦贸易发展局、巴基斯坦工商业联盟、卡拉奇工商业联盟等机构参与此次商洽会。我们有244个展位用于展示巴基斯坦生产的各种商品。此外，巴基斯坦政府也派出了高规格的代表团参加商洽会的开幕式。巴基斯坦的高级官员及学者也将参与本次商洽会期间举办的重要讨论、论坛和研讨会。”

Selected as the “Country of Honor” in the 2017 SSACEIF and the “Rotating Chair Country” for China-South Asia Business Forum, Pakistan will also actively participate 2017 SSACEIF. Amna Baloch, Pakistani Consul General in Chengdu said: “Pakistani exhibitors representing Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry will exhibit wide range of products manufactured in Pakistan. For this purpose, 224 booths have been allocated to Pakistan. In addition, the Government of Pakistan will also be sending a high level delegation to participate in the Opening Ceremony of the Fair. High ranking Pakistani dignitaries, officials and scholars will also participate in important discussions,seminars and forums which will be held on the 2017 SSACEIF.”

 “巴基斯坦高度重视促进与中国中部、南部，尤其是同云南在商业、投资、经济等领域的联系。本次商洽会为巴基斯坦的参展商提供了一个重要的展示机会，并且还会增强双方的商业往来。会上举办的各讨论、研讨会及论谈也是一个我们分享对区域内重要问题观点的机会。同时，我们也向其他成员国学习经验。”Amna Baloch表示。

“Pakistan attaches high importance to promoting commercial, investment and economic ties with South and Central China especially Yunnan Province. The 2017 SSACEIF will provide an important opportunity to Pakistani exhibitors to showcase their products during the Fairand strengthen bilateral business to business linkages. The various discussions,seminars and forums held on the sidelines of the Fair will also provide anopportunity to share our point of view on topics of significance for the regionas well as learn from the experiences of other participating countries, ” Amna Baloch added.

印度：合作潜力巨大

India: Great cooperative potential

“云南对于中印关系，尤其是中国西南部与印度东北部的关系起着重要的作用。”印度驻广州总领事Y.K. Sailas Thangal对云南给予了充分的肯定。他说：“云南是中国联系南亚及东南亚的一座桥梁，加强云南和印度东北部的经济往来可以长期具体化中印关系和云南与印度东北部的关系。云南和印度东北部有很多相似的地方，双方在发展农业产品、旅游及文化交流合作等方面有很大的潜力。”

Y.K. Sailas Thangal, Indian Consul General in Guangzhou provided an affirmative view for Yunnan: “Yunnan province has a strategic importance for development of India-China relations especially southwest of China and North-East of India. Yunnan is a land bridge between China and Southeast Asia and South Asia. Integrating Yunnan’s economy with the North-East India will go a long way in concretizing the India-China bilateral relations especially between Yunnan and North East India. Yunnan province and North-East States also have many things in common and there is huge potential for developing cooperation in sectors such as agricultural products, tourism and cultural exchanges.”

在本届商洽会上，印度出口联盟和印度商会组织了约200个展位。总领事也鼓励印度商人及企业积极参与商洽会，促进中印，尤其是印度东北部和中国在贸易和商业上的往来。他本人也会参加商洽会上包括印度商业及投资论坛在内的各项活动。“基于中印贸易的巨大潜力，很多印度企业都积极参与了本次商洽会，他们建立了与中国企业在手工艺品、木制品、家具、服装、珠宝等领域的交流和合作。应云南省旅游发展委员会的邀请，我们还在商洽会上展示了在印度知名的旅游目的地和旅游产品。我们一定会积极参与其中并与旅游部门和旅行社一起努力，让更多中国游客知道这些难以置信的旅游目的地。”Y.K. Sailas Thangal说：“我相信，作为平等的伙伴，在未来几年，中国和印度，尤其是云南和印度东北部在商业和贸易方面会有突飞猛进的发展。”

The total number of booths these two business chambers will organize is about 200 booths. The Consulate is also encouraged Indian business & entrepreneurs especially from North-East states of India to actively participate and interact with Chinese business to enhance trade and commerce exchanges between India and China. There will also be India-specific business and investment forums and other events organized through these chambers and the Consulate will participate in these activities. “ There has been overwhelming response from Indian companies to participate in the Expo because of the hugepotential for developing trade relations with Chinese companies and importers of various products, especially handicrafts, wood products, furniture items, garments, fashion jewelry, etc. Yunnan Tourism Development Committee has invited us to be part of SSACEIF and showcase India’s tourism products and resources. We will definitely join them with other tour operators and travelagencies from India so that more and more information about the incredible Indian touristic destinations reach to the people of China through this fair, ” Y.K. Sailas Thangal continued: “I am confident that Trade and commerce relations between China and India particularly Yunnan and North-East India will grow by leaps and bounds in the years to come even as we come and work together as equal partners.”

缅甸：巩固胞波友谊

Myanmar: Consolidate the “paukphaw” friendship

缅甸是中国的友好邻邦，缅甸驻昆明总领事馆为促成被邀请人员参加论坛、会议作出了积极努力，总领事Mr. U Soe Paing也将参加相关活动。他说：“通过这次举办的商洽会，希望能进一步促进两国之间的经贸发展，相信业已存在的胞波友谊能得到进一步的巩固和发展。同时我也希望两国的负责人和人民之间，能通过增进相互了解，使各个领域的合作更加顺利，更有成效。”他表示，缅甸贸易部、缅甸贸促会还组织了缅甸联邦共和国总商会以及兄弟协会、合作社、中小企业的企业家参会参展，也邀请了缅甸饭店与旅游部的代表参加跨境旅游论坛。

China and Myanmar are friendly neighbors, Mr. Soe Paing, Burmese Consul General in Kunming has made efforts for facilitating officers and people from different enterprises to participate in meetings and forums. The consul-general will also take part inrelated activities. “I hope the expo will promote the economic trade development between two counties and I believe the existing ‘paukphaw’ friendship will be further consolidated. I also hope leaders and people between two countries will cooperate in a more smooth and efficient way in various fields through enhancing their understandings,” he expressed. Soe Paing also told us trade department and Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Myanmar have organized the General Chamber of Commerce and brother chamber of commerce of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, cooperatives, entrepreneurs from small and medium size enterprises to join the expo. Representatives of Myanmar Hotel and Ministry of Tourism were also invited to the cross-border tourism forum.

泰国：多领域交流合作

Thailand: Exchanges andcollaboration in various fields

昆明总领事馆、泰王国驻昆明总领事馆商务处、泰王国旅游局昆明办事处以及196家泰国企业将出席此次商洽会。泰王国驻昆明总领事鹏普·汪披塔亚称赞：“2017商洽会是云南省以及南亚东南亚国家重要的活动之一，其将贸易和旅游产业有机结合，在“一带一路”倡议下扮演着重要的角色，希望商洽会不仅可以推动泰国与云南的经贸、旅游合作，还能促进中泰人民间的友好往来。”

The Royal Thai Consulate-General, The Office of Commercial Affairs in Kunming, Tourism Authority of Thailand in Kunming and 196 Thai companies will participate in 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (2017 SSACEIF). Royal Thai Consul-General Mr.Pornpop Uampidhaya highly commented: “2017SSACEIF is considered to be one of the most important events for Yunnan Province and countries in Southeast Asia and South Asia. The event, which incorporates elements from trade, investment as well as tourism, has been playing a significant role in promoting and supporting Beltand Road Initiative. We wish the fair will not only help to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Yunnan but also strengthen other areas of cooperation especially people-to-people contact which is the most important foundation of our existing cordial relations.”

 商洽会期间，泰王国商业部国际贸易促进厅和泰王国驻昆总领馆商务处将共同举办“2017泰国顶尖品牌展”，突出宣传和推介泰国顶尖品牌。此外，泰国旅游局昆明办事处将在旅游产业馆设展，推介泰国旅游产品和路线。

The Office of Commercial Affairs in Kunming which is an authority under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand will organize the event “2017 Top Thai Brand”. Tourism Authority of Thailand in Kunming will display a tourism promotion booth in the Tourism Industry Hall to promote Thai tourist routes and products.

柬埔寨：促进中柬合作

Cambodia: Promote bilateralcollaboration

柬埔寨王国驻昆明总领事馆、柬埔寨王国商务部以及48家柬埔寨企业受邀出席本届商洽会。其中参展的48家企业均是柬埔寨的知名企业，大部分以经营农产品为主。柬埔寨王国驻昆明总领事淮立恒表示在“一带一路”倡议下，商洽会是人民了解柬埔寨、促进中柬合作的良好平台。

Royal Cambodia Consulate General in Kunming, Cambodian Ministry of Commerce and 48 Cambodian companies will attend 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (2017 SSACEIF). The 48 companies are well-known enterprises in Cambodia and mainly run business of agricultural products. Royal Cambodia Consul-General Mr. Kruy Limheng said: “Under Belt and Road Initiative, 2017 SSACEIF is a great platform to let people know about Cambodia and to promote bilateral cooperation.”

目前，柬埔寨与云南省的合作以基础设施的修建为主，主要涉及到公路、桥梁和道路等。2017一带一路国际合作高峰论坛上，中方援助2.7亿美金给柬埔寨用于基础设施修建。淮立恒希望柬埔寨与云南在各领域的合作可以长久。

At present, the cooperation between Cambodia and Yunnan Province is mainly in the area of infrastructure construction such as roads, bridges and highways. Chinese government donated 270 million US dollars to Cambodia for infrastructure construction on Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Mr.Kruy Limhenghope that bilateral collaboration in various fields can last forever.

新加坡：双边多领域合作广泛

Singapore:  Bilateral cooperation expanded in variousfields

新加坡与云南一直保持着友好的往来关系。2017商洽会，新加坡驻广州总领事蔡簦合先生、新加坡国际企业以及新加坡中华总商会（SCCCI）和新加坡企业的高级代表受邀出席。新加坡驻广州总领事蔡簦合表示：“云南是‘一带一路’倡议下连接中国与南亚东南亚国家的重要省份，省会昆明是中国西南边陲的重要物流地。我希望2017商洽会可以进一步促进新加坡与云南政府单位、本地企业在物流、易腐品贸易、金融、交通等领域的合作。”

Singapore and Yunnan enjoy warm and growing relations.The Singapore Consulate-General, International Enterprise Singapore as well as senior representatives from Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) and Singapore companies will attend 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (2017 SSACEIF). Consul-General Mr Chua Teng Hoe said: “Yunnan is an important node connecting China to South Asia and Southeast Asia under the Belt and Road Initiative. Kunmingis also well-positioned to be a logistic hub for Southwest China.Through the exchanges at the business forums at 2017 SSACEIF, Singapore hopes to explore collaboration opportunities with Yunnan authorities and companies in areas such as logistics, trade of perishable goods, connectivity and finance.”  

   目前云南与新加坡双边合作频繁，涉及领域广泛，涵盖了工业规划、物流基础设施、金融服务等多个行业。今年，新加坡企业雅思柏设计事务所和盛邦裕廊私人有限公司将在滇中新区和昆明市区参与一系列城市、工业规划项目。房地产领域的丰树集团将在昆明空港经济园区建设面积为185亩的物流园区。金融方面，新加坡大华银行将于今年6月份在昆明设立其第一个分行。

Some of the recent key projects of bilateral collaboration in the fields of industrial planning, logistic infrastructure and finance are listed. RSP and Surbana Jurong are engaged in a number of urban and industrial planning projects for Dianzhong New Area and Kunming city this year. Mapletree will develop a 185mu logistic park in Yunnan Airport Industrial park. As for financial collaboration, United Overseas Bank will open their first branch in Kunming in June 2017.
